Paul Murray, the OD Ambassador, and Author OD Gavin Cooper (1976O), will be in discussion about Gavin’s recent books: Under Devil’s Peak – the biography of his father Judge Wilfrid Cooper, who represented Verwoerd’s assassin Demitrio Tsafendas, the SWAPO Six in Swakopmund, and the families of Imam Haron, Mapetla Mohapi, Hoosen Haffejee, and Steve Biko; and The killing of Elifas - about the assassination of the Chief Minister of Ovamboland, Filemon Elifas, on 16 August 1975 in Onamugundu in Namibia. The two books go together. There will be a Q&A session.
