Resolution 1:
RESOLVED THAT the Constitution be and is hereby amended such that all members of the Union are entitled to participate, speak and vote at general meetings of the Union.
The effect of this resolution would be that all ODs shall be entitled to participate, speak and vote at general meetings of the Union regardless of whether their membership fee payments are up to date.
An amendment to the Constitution is adopted if 66% of the members participating at the meeting vote in favour of the resolution.
Resolution 2:
RESOLVED THAT the Constitution be and is hereby amended such that all members of the Union are entitled to participate, speak and vote at general meetings of the Union whether by way of electronic communication, proxy or postal voting.
The effect of this resolution would be that all ODs shall be entitled to participate, speak and vote at general meetings of the Union by way of electronic communication, proxy or postal voting, as opposed to being physically present at the meeting.
An amendment to the Constitution is adopted if 66% of the members participating at the meeting vote in favour of the resolution.
