International Workers Day Cheat Sheet

Where did it all start?

The 1st of May is International Workers Day.  Do you know why it is celebrated and where it all started?  We found a short video clip that explains it all.

We would like to salute all ODs who are working tirelessly to ensure that people in our workforces know their rights and that working conditions are fair for all.

Did you know that May is also Africa month?

People across Africa and around the globe are asked to celebrate and honor Africa's diversity and resilience. The month serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts to build a brighter future for all inhabitants of Africa. It also is a good time to reflect on both the progress made and the challenges that still lie ahead.
