The OD Union connects alumni of Bishops, celebrating lifelong friendships, fostering professional growth, and supporting one another through mentorship and shared experiences since its founding in 1896.

1. Purpose of the Role
Together with the Executive Director, ensure the efficient running of the OD Union office and events, giving administrative, communications, reunions and event support and creating a welcoming, engaging environment for alumni and visitors. 

2. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage ODU events and functions.
• Oversee daily OD office administration.
• Ensure that our database of members is kept up to date.
• Work with the OD Committee and branch members. 
• Support communications and social media.
• Manage memorabilia sales and the day to day finances. 

3. Skills and Attributes

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Professional, approachable, and energetic.
• Proficiency with IT systems and the ability to learn the ODU database, our CRM tech platform.
• Ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when evening and weekend events take place.

4. Experience

• Prior experience in alumni relations, school or volunteer organisations preferred.
• Event planning and office administration experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of the school is an advantage.
