Dr Paul Murray (Bishops Archivist) reports:
“Chris Warner and his wife Pam were out from Edinburgh, Scotland and three generations of Warners took the time to visit Bishops to learn more about their father, grandfather and great grandfather, Edmond Warner also known as Plum or Dickie. Warner attended Bishops between 1922 and 1927 boarding in School House. He was an active sportsman obtaining colours in cricket and rugby and was also a school prefect.  He went onto play both rugby and cricket at provincial level and was a member of the R&A golf club in Scotland. Warner ran his own accounting practice in Bloemfontein for a number of years before he passed away in 1997. His great-grandson Matthew Warner is now at Bishops in Grade R.”
