All the way from the West Coast of the USA

A special visit from super-scholar John Brock (1958O) who was Rhodes Scholar (1960), Head of House and Head of School (Senior Prefect) in1958.

John Brock and his wife Mary Ann visited The Mitre from the West Coast of the USA where they live.  They were accompanied by grandchildren Nina and Ryka.  Paul Murray took John and his family on a tour of the school, which looks very different to 1958 when John, who matriculated (Ogilvie House: 1957), was Head of School (1958). It was special time as John reminisced about his time at Bishops.  They did a tour of the school and then returned to The Mitre Lounge for tea, after which John and his family left to fulfil family engagements.

A special time with a very special man.
