A very convivial reunion luncheon of the Zimbabwe ODs was held at Garfunkels Grill, a local Harare Restaurant on Thursday 28th October.

A very convivial reunion luncheon of the Zimbabwe ODs was held at Garfunkels Grill, a local Harare Restaurant on Thursday 28th October.

Eleven ODs were present with their wives/partners, together with two 'Honorary' ODs, they being Mrs Ann Francis, wife of the late Bill Francis, and Sue Arkell, wife of the late Richard Arkell.

Apologies were noted from Peter Glennie, Ken Saywood and Stuart Irvine  and we had no response from Garth Adams who spends most of his time deep in the bush out of signal!!

Since our last reunion, sadly, Lindsy Cook and Shane Scott, wife of Dave Scott, have passed away.

Life continues here amidst the chaos and general mismanagement of resources, faced by the citizens of Zimbabwe. However they say that adversity and deprivation draws peoples together to face these challenges with a common bond, enough said.
