Thomas Gibson (1941O) | 1923 - 2019
Tom's widow, Gloria, reports: "Tom died at age 95 on the 24th February. He went to Bishops Prep and then went up to College. He left at the end of 1941 in Matric. Then he immediately joined up. He was in the Infantry with the Royal Natal Carbineers and fought in North Africa and then in the Italian Campaign. He fought at Monte Casino and was wounded twice and was near Milan when the war ended. They knew he was ordained here in Salisbury Cathedral. His ministry was in the UK and Europe. Tom always kept in touch with the ODs and always read the magazine. He was always proud of his school and enjoyed his time there. It was the only school he ever went to."
