The Old Diocesan Union extends its warmest and proudest congratulations to the Class of 2025 on an exceptional set of academic results. These achievements stand as a powerful reflection of your dedication, resilience, and commitment, and they add yet another distinguished chapter to the proud academic legacy of Bishops.
We are delighted to celebrate outstanding performances across both the NSC and Cambridge streams. With 143 boys writing the NSC examinations and achieving a 100% pass rate, alongside a remarkable 98.6% Bachelor's pass rate, the Class of 2025 has set a benchmark of excellence. The achievement of 474 subject distinctions, with significant proportions of results above 80% and 90%, speaks to both depth and consistency of academic success. Special congratulations go to top achievers Grant Weich, Daniel van den Heever, and Noah Macnab, as well as to all boys who earned multiple distinctions and national-level recognition.
Equally impressive are the Cambridge A Level results, with a 100% pass rate and an outstanding 57% of all grades at A* and A level. Congratulations to Matthew Walker, James Thunstrom, and Matthew Griffin for leading the Cambridge cohort with distinction.
As Old Diocesans, we take immense pride in what you have accomplished. These results are not only a testament to your hard work, but also to the unwavering support of your teachers, parents, families, and the wider Bishops community who have walked this journey with you.
Class of 2025, you now join the ranks of the ODU, carrying forward the values, traditions, and excellence of Bishops into the world beyond the school gates. We celebrate you, we are proud of you, and we look forward to watching your journeys unfold. May you continue to strive boldly, lead with integrity, and make your mark wherever you go.
Remember, The Mitre is always open , whether to visit, reconnect, or simply pop in for a chat. Once an OD, always a Bishops Boy.
