Founders Day Sport could not have been more successful than it was this year!  With sixteen teams taking part across nine sports codes, it was an epic event.

Every corner of the College Campus was occupied with OD sportsmen and College opposition teams.

OD runners took part in the Avenue Mile and our teams did well with wins in Basketball, Tennis, Football, Hockey and Shooting.

The basketball players - enjoy a win this year!

Tennis action after the threat of being rained out in the morning.

Our cricketers delivered some respectable cricket and the water polo guys showed a lot of finesse and were only let down by their fitness.

The OD shooting team retains the famous Shooting Trophy once again!

This year we had braais and eats and music next to the fields and there was a wonderful festive vibe to the day.

The Mitre Lounge hosted the hockey ODs who ended later in the evening and were joined by visiting ODs who had come to watch.  Last round was after 11pm.

We were particularly proud of the new green OD jerseys that our players played in.  Thank you Dedry for organising these.

Thank you to all our captains and players especially those who came from other countries like Hong Kong, Australia and the UK.

A very special thank you to Warren Wallace, Head of Sport, and all the teachers and coaches who made it all happen.  The OD really loves to engage with the College and share the celebrations around Founders Day.

We really look forward to a repeat next year.
