Congratulations to Storm Matthews (2023,O) on an outstanding season for Avendale Cricket Club in the Western Province Cricket Association First Division A!
Storm finished the season as the leading wicket-taker, claiming 44 wickets at a strike rate of 21 and an economy of 4.2, a dominant force with the ball! He was also one of only two players in the league to record three five-wicket hauls, a testament to his consistency and match-winning ability.
With the bat, he contributed a solid 247 runs at an average of 15 and a strike rate of 63, rounding off a fine all-round season in the WPCA's 2nd Division.
