Victor Allen (F. 2018) Makes International Debut for Austria After Outstanding Season
Victor Allen, a proud Bishops Diocesan College alumnus, recently earned his first international rugby cap for Austria, scoring two tries in a dominant win over Slovakia in the Rugby Europe Conference.
After matriculating in 2018 and representing the Bishops 1st XV, Victor’s rugby journey took him through UCT and Maties before moving to Ireland. Since 2023, he has been based in Dublin, completing a Master’s in International Management at Trinity College and playing for Clontarf Rugby Club.
This season, Victor helped Clontarf win the All-Ireland League, with a thrilling final victory over Cork Constitution at the Aviva Stadium. His strong performances earned him a call-up to Austria’s national team, a country he qualifies for through his mother.
Bishops is incredibly proud of Victor’s achievements and wishes him continued success as he makes his mark on the international rugby stage.
