Announcements

We want to thank the following people for their contribution to the ODU over the past number of years:

  • Eric Emmet (1977G) has handed over the role of Branch Secretary in Western Australia to Liam Surridge (2001S) who is based in Perth. Eric has worked hard at flying the flag of the ODU over the years and been very involved with ODs world-wide.
  • John Smuts (1969S) is stepping down as OD Golf Inter-School Organiser.  He has worked tirelessly to keep these tournaments going and has made sure that ODs got an opportunity to connect with each other and  share their enjoyment of golf against old school rivals.  We are looking for someone (or a group of ODs) who might be willing to take over from John. Should you be interested in the role of OD Golf Inter-School Organiser, please email the ODU at odu@bishops.org.za.
  • Nicky Bicket (1973F) has resigned from the ODC and will be focussing all his attention on his current and new role as UK Branch Secretary and acting Secretary of the Europe Region.   The Europe Region is being embraced by the UK Branch whilst Nicky will work on finding ODs in the various countries who might be willing to act as Representatives for their countries.  We are very grateful to him for expanding his good work into Europe.

To those who are embarking on new roles within the ODU, we wish you every success.
