OD COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT

We are writing to inform you that the Chairman of the ODC is, at this stage, unfortunately unable to attend either College Council or Nomination Committee meetings.

This is solely due to the fact that he has been asked to sign Confidentiality Agreements that, in the opinion of both the ODC and our pro bono legal advisers (who are ODs), are highly restrictive, unreasonable and unsuitable.

Specifically, they do not allow for any reasonable sharing of information arising from meetings and also impose personal liability, to the school, for unspecified damages as the result of disclosure of information.

We are now in discussion with Council to seek a solution to this matter, so that our Chairman can participate in these bodies and also so that governance can be improved.
