On Thursday 22 August 2019 members of the Forum for Museums and Archives met at The Mitre.  The guest speaker was Peter Dennis of  Logos Flow who explained his work in databases and storage and retrieval systems that offer many ways to facilite access to information via networks, intranets and websites.

This was of great importance to schools' museum curators and archivists as the need to develop database products for their institutions, escalates.

The meeting lasted two hours, and was found to be of great use to us.  In the photograph above we see Mr Simon Perkin who curates the SACS Museum speaking to Peter Dennis the presenter.  Some of the schools that attended included Springfield Convent, the Officer in charge of the Mayoral Collection (CCT), St Cyprians, Rondebosch, Rustenberg and Ms Sigi Howes, Head of the Education Museum, Wynberg, Cape Town.
