We received the following notice from the UK about the passing of Richard Duck (1964G):

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Richard Duck. Richard battled with cancer for a long time and after assuring us that he was on top of his illness, eventually succumbed on Saturday 8th July. 

He was a great friend of the Senior OD Golf side and the ODU in general. He will be greatly missed.

Richard's wife, Vicki, shared the following about Richard's working life:

In the early seventies he worked for Safmarine and then in 1976 they transferred him to their London office.

For the greater part of his working life in the UK he was with a private American Bank - Republic National Bank of New York as Facilities manager until soon after it was sold to HSBC.

To Vicki, his three children and six grandchildren and the broader Duck family we extend our heartfelt condolences.
