David Vernon Wellesley Brink
It is with deep sadness that we inform ODs and the Bishops community of the sad passing of David Brink in September this year.
David was a prefect in Ogilvie House, matriculating in 1951 (after which he did Post-Matric in 1952).
He was a Sargeant in the Cadet Corps; and participated in the Lukin Shield event in 1948 and 1949.
He won the Old Boys Prize for Chemistry as well as achieving a distinction for English. He matriculated in the First Class.
He had a prolific record for participating in societies, as a member of the Brooke Library Committee; the Ten Club; the Foreign Affairs Society, the Democritus Society, the Literary Society, the Play Reading Circle, the Debating Society, as well as enjoying his Cricket.
He was a member of the Choir.
After school he qualified in Industrial Chemistry.
We send our deepest sympathies to Adam (1988B) and family.
