Graham Charnock (1964O) passing

We received the sad news that Graham Niven Charnock (1964O) has passed away.  Graham passed away suddenly on Friday, 16 February 2024 in Cape Town.  He had always taken good care of himself, but had been struggling with an underlying health issue over the past few years.

During his working life he was a maritime attorney. His legal career was with Findlay & Tait, later merging to become Bowman Gilfillan.

We spoke briefly to Graham's son, Craig Charnock (1998O) who had the following to say about his dad:

He loved his family and had a good life to the end!

Craig has agreed to send us a more detailed write-up about his father at a later time that we will share when we receive it. 

The family is having a memorial at Kelvin Grove, Rondebosch on Friday 23rd February, 10 for 10.30am.

We wish them strength at this time, and extend our sincerest condolences to Lesley, brother, Mark Charnock (1962O) and sons Brendon (2001O), Craig and the extended family.
