PETER SYFRET - 1943 - 2025
The ODU announces with deep regret the sad passing of Peter Syfret (1961S). We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Marie and son Stephen (1986S) and the family. An obit will follow in due course.

The following was sent from the UK Branch by Nicholas Bicket (1973F), a close friend of Peter and Marie:
Peter Syfret (S, 1961) a huge supporter of and regular participant in events of our UK Branch passed away yesterday morning after a short illness.
Marie, Peter's wife, and he attended many UK ODU functions and never missed a dinner. His enthusiasm, loyalty and support for all we did were boundless and we will miss his presence greatly.
To Marie and Stephen (S, 1986) his son, and the whole Syfret family, we send our heartfelt condolences.

There will be a Memorial Service for Peter on Friday 21st November at 1pm at St Nicholas, Ickleton Road, Elmdon, Saffron Walden, CB11 4LT followed by refreshments at Marie's home: Elmdon Lodge, Elmdon, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB11 4NH.
