On Wednesday 20 August 2025 Sung Evensong was held in the War Memorial Chapel at Bishops from 6.30PM - 7.30PM.
The choir led the service for sung evensong, and provided a moving rendition of Dan Forrest's 'Arise my soul, arise' as the anthem.
The College continues to celebrate and worship through Music.
It continues a tradition started 175.5 years ago, when the school opened on 15 March 1849.
It was Nikola Tesla who said: "I am part of a light, and it is the music. The Light fills my six senses: I see it, hear, feel, smell, touch and think. Thinking of it means my sixth sense."
Archbishop Tutu a former Visitor to Bishops, believed people are "made to enjoy" music and similar beautiful things, connecting it to the divine and to a universal human need for beauty, truth, and transcendence.
Wednesday was no exception.
