This morning (Thursday 27 July 2023) the ODA met briefly with the Cassiem Brothers, Dayaan (White House 2017) and Mustapha (White House, 2020), before they began their session on the Astro at Woodlands, next to The Mitre.  Paul is in the process of organising an OD Match with Old Boys from Rondebosch, for later this season, much as with the ODs playing the OCs (SACS Old Boys) rugby at SACS on 19 August at SACS.  He is keen for as many of the sports to be represented in matches between ODs and the alumni of  traditional competitors, including summer sports Cricket and Waterpolo, for the forthcoming summer months; as well as any of the other sports where ODs would like to have events. 

For the hockey, still for this season, we are thus planning a match between our ODs against our neighbours from Rondebosch.  Further details will be published asap.

Speaking to Dayaan and Mustapha, they are very excited about the forthcoming Summer Olympics for which they will soon begin trials; and then also for their time playing Club Hockey in Holland.  We wish our two Olympians well for continued success in their hockey careers.
