On Wednesday 03 September 2025 our architect historian OD Geoff de Wet (1964G) presented a very significant talk at The Mitre on the development of Bishops' grounds concentrating on the unfolding of the buildings from 1850 - 1940.

Geoff went through the buildings as they appeared explaining their provenance and the historical information affecting how and why the buildings developed as they did.

Geoff is well-known in the City for his interesting talks  on architecture of which this one is no exception.

At the end of the talk all marvelled at not only the excellent way in which the lecture was presented but also the magnificent way in which Bishops' architectural history has unfolded.
