Dr Paul Murray's A Level History Room recently visited The Mitre to attend a traditional Tea.

Over the course of the year, the Mitre has been a hive of activity for several Grade 12s, soon to be ODs.  Soon the ceremony will be held in the school, to welcome all current Grade 12s into the ODU.

Also, the various societies run by Paul all meet at The Mitre for their meetings, where normally OD speakers address the students.  There are 16 of these meetings each year.

The Mitre is also used for the regular colloquia, talks for ODs and their partners which number at least 8 a year together with many other functions either for ODs or where ODs address audiences on interesting topics.

There can be no place more appropriate for such wonderful engagement as The Mitre, after which there is usually some socialising, for people to connect and engage.

ODs wanting further information of these events can contact the ODU - oducomms@bishops.org.za
