James Drummond (2012W) visited Bishops earlier this year.  He connected with Paul Murray, the ODA, and they reminisced about his times at school. His HD was Warren Wallace, whom he remembers with great afffection.

When James matriculated in 2012, he (in his words) said:

"I did so with nothing but fond memories of my time there".

Dr Murray said that it was great to see James. He remembers him as a high achiever.  It was no surprise then that James had been at the astroturf all week practicing ahead of a tough season of field hockey back home. James is currently living and working in Amsterdam.

Now, he plays hockey at Laren Hockey Club in the men's first team that plays in the “Hoofdklasse League” which is the highest league in the world. He also represents and plays hockey for the Scottish mens team.

James had the following to say:

"It was awesome to be back on the Woodlands Astro where it all began. Really glad and grateful I was able to grow up in such an awesome establishment."

Well done James, great to catch up with you and hear all about your life and whereabouts.  Everything of the best for the upcoming hockey season in Europe!
